Enough said.
Tadaaa.... I finally manage to get a new layout for this blog. Being a dummy on html/css/xml, I choosed to (again) find an existing blogger template. There are dozens of brilliant blog designers out there, giving away free templates for us dummies.
I've been pondering between choosing a dark-sleek look or a bright-cheery feel. Finally this layout caught my heart: Baby Cute from Ipietoon. I find this layout to be cute and fresh. Of course to make it more of my own, I have to make some minor changes. I changed the header with an image I grabbed a long time ago from one of my favorite manga: Nana. I also changed the search and blog title icon with these cute ones I grabbed from Tutorial9.
Ipietoon has a nice collection of blogger templates. If you go to my songs blog, you'll see that I've also changed the layout with another template from Ipietoon: Black Brown Pop.
I still want to tweak both layouts a bit, such as changing the header font... But all in all, I'm happy with the new looks. Hope you like them too!
Hmm, so this morning I received a comment from a guy, saying that he thought my blog is a homosexual community, since maho in his (Indonesian) vocabulary means 'manusia-homo' - gay man. Uh-huh. I never knew that :-/. Undoubtedly the word maho can mean a number of things. I know that it is the name of a beach in the Netherlands Antilles, for example. FYI, the word maho came up from my love of Japanese mangas. I don't speak Japanese, but I know that maho (or mahou) can be translated to magic. If you google for mangas, you'll come across quite a few titles with the word maho in it, such as Mahou Gakuen Maho Maho. See a short Q&A in yahoo answers on the word maho here. So maho-days here simply means Magical Days! :)
